Still Seeking Perfection (ordering multiples of the identical wig)

Two weeks ago I discovered one of the most fantastic bob wig - the Haute by Jon Renau. The problem was, the color I ordered was much lighter than I anticipated, and in that case there’s truly nothing to perform but switch it out to get a better shade, which I did. Now - the initial Haute I ordered was perfection - the lace front fit snugly against my head and was not visible, however it was just as well light and my dark bio hair showed by means of the lace and also the monofilament major regardless of what I did. Now, envision my disappointment when the replacement Haute came in, along with the lace front was as well large!

Except that, if you have been wearing wigs for awhile, you most likely don’t have to consider this scenario for the reason that you have knowledgeable it. I’ve written right here just before in regards to the impossibility of locating the “perfect” wig, but what about these times you discover one that’s close enough to perfection to produce you pleased, and any time you order a replacement for it for whatever reason, it fails to live as much as the perfection of that initial 1? Talk about frustrating!

The truth is this has occurred to me numerous, quite a few times when ordering multiples with the similar wig. I get one in and I appreciate it a lot I want it in yet another color, then the second one arrives plus the bangs fall in such a way they make me crazy, or the cap is itchy, or it has height and pouf in an region that the original one particular didn’t have and it adjustments the complete appear. While I am OK with accepting the truth that no wig will ever be the right replacement for the hair that grows out of my head, I've been much more unwilling to accept the truth that two copies of your similar wig will not look exactly the same. You’d consider soon after all this time I’d just file this info away in my head and be done with it, however it gets me each time it takes place.

My usual reaction will be to say, to hell with it, and sell or donate the “imperfect” wig and move on. Or try and replace with it but a third copy that I convince myself will likely be as “perfect” as the initially one particular. When both of these are absolutely alternatives, I must start out contemplating the possiblity that the second wig can still be fabulous in its personal right, it just could look just a little unique than the initial 1 or it may demand a bit function to bring it up to my requirements.

Obviously, function is anything I’m frequently not willing to complete with regards to wigs. I wear them so I do not have to perform on my hair. So, I may perhaps nonetheless continue to decide on choices one particular or two within the future, but I must preserve this reality of wig-wearing in mind when I order a replacement to get a “perfect” wig inside the future, and consider the selection of operating on it when it’s style I like sufficient to want to retain it in my collection.

Just like the Haute. The very first color just was not going to operate no matter what, and when it is terribly frustrating to acquire it within a color I really like and discover a new dilemma, it doesn’t mean I have to send it back or sell it to reach a remedy. Possibilities are I’ll get other lace fronts that do not lie flat against my head inside the future that I otherwise choose to keep (and, truth be told, I do own some that don’t specifically lie flat but it’s not as terrible so I can ignore it) so why not find out some options that are available to me now so I can add them to my tool bag for future purchases, also as repair this wig I got in that I appreciate in spite of your dilemma? And obviously, I have the added benefit of then having to share what I discover with every person who reads the blog or watches the videos, also. So, it is a win all around.

It’s been suggested to me to attempt particular varieties of glue and tape, so I’ve ordered some and we’ll see what takes place.
